Assistant Editor, Auburn Magazine — May 2016 — Present

▪ Coordinates the production of Auburn University's alumni magazine, which publishes 3 times a year to more than 200,000 readers. I contribute features, alumni profiles, philanthropic content and proofread the 64-page publication according to AP style and our own specific guidelines. I also manages our freelancers outside contributors and student interns.

▪ In September 2023 I took over advertising management and now direct revenue generation for the magazine. Our rates have been adjusted through market research and client generation to forecast a modest but steady profit.

▪ In 2017 I served as interim managing editor of four separate issues that won 6 CASE awards, including the 2018 CASE District III Grand Award for the 125th Anniversary of Auburn Women campaign and commemorative issue. That event produced 270 unique alumni stories and raised more than $100 million in philanthropic contributions to Auburn University.

Marketing Content Specialist, Auburn Advancement — May 2022 — Present

▪ I write and edit communications projects for Auburn Advancement, the fundraising foundation of Auburn University. This is primarily philanthropic communications and marketing geared to engage alumni and donors, but also includes producing the speeches and scripts for social events, programs and committees functions.

▪ Regular content includes email, social media and virtual newsletters with weekly reach of over 40,000. I'm responsible for content generation, scheduling and deployment in coordination with program campaign goals.

Editorial Contributor, Hotels Magazine — Nov. 2022 — Present

▪ I contribute feature-length articles on design, interior decoration and architecture for industry trade publication Hotels Magazine. I've covered the opening of one-of-a-kind hotels and resorts around the world, covered the latest trends and interviewed some of the top hoteliers and designers in the hospitality industry.

▪ These are in-depth, entertaining profiles discussing the individuality and artistry of new projects and the people behind them. The hotels I've covered include MOLLIE Aspen, Hotel 1 Hanalei Bay and Pulitzer Amsterdam.
